Yves Rocher, The Creator of Botanical Beauty: SO ELIXIR Highly Recommended By Whom You Know

So feminine
How does one describe femininity?
It’s fullness. Radiance.
An undulating vibe, a fluid smile.
It’s light.
It’s what makes a woman. The sum of her infinite parts.
Her limitless emotions. It’s fireflies and clouds.
Shade and light. Sun and scent.
It is obvious and unmistakable:
it’s a perfume.

The secret lies dormant in the flowers
In the sambac jasmine picked before dawn by the delicate hands of women
in multicoloured saris. A sensual smell which submerges the fields with a
delicate intensity in these tropical lands.
In the petals of the damask rose grown in eastern Europe since the time
of the Crusades.

It is the wood that captivates us
With patchouli, its humid and smoky jungle aroma, its accents of spongy lichen
and its slowly decomposing leaves; but also the camphoric, radiant freshness
which smells like cool breezes and pureness.
With the Atlas cedar which evokes a saw mill, pencil lead and the raw green
scent of an evergreen fir tree. And lastly with incense, which is not wood
but simply the balsamic whisper of olibanum.
It is thanks to fruit that the feminine side
of the perfume begins to emerge
From it comes an essence so exquisite, perfumery cannot do without.
Yves Rocher has recreated this exquisite oil that is so essential
in perfumery.

Thanks to the Tonka bean, exotic fruit from an exotic tree (Amazonian
Coumarouna) and to its accents of bitter almonds, dry biscuits and strong
spice. And its flavour which makes you want to try it again and again.
The excellence of its essences, the accuracy of its accords.
So Elixir, like all Yves Rocher creations, prefers revelations to declarations.
Communicating to the senses, letting you experience the truth rather than
proclaiming it.

Behind the scenes of its creation
The expertise of 3 exceptional noses
Marie Salamagne

“As soon as we discussed
this project, I wanted to create
a modern white flower: a subtly
intoxicating and sensual fragrance.
To make the floral note even
more vibrant I chose my favourite
ingredient, patchouli… I took
the time necessary to find the
right expression and find the ideal
quantity: the woody note
of patchouli facets the flower,
to create a sort of spark between
the two ingredients…”
Olivier Cresp

“Marie had the main idea and
my role was to structure and give
volume to the note. A bit like an
architect, I redefined the space by
giving it verticality. Each facet of
this creation has been carefully cut
to subdue the white flower-patchouli
accord and find the perfect balance.”
Jacques Cavallier

“When I got involved in this project
I wanted to enhance the carnal
sensuality of the note with a burst
of light. This is why I worked on
the opening of the composition
by adding a radiant and inviting
freshness to this perfume.”

Behind the scenes of its creation
An original creation by Catherine Lévy and Sigolène Prébois,
Tsé&Tsé associées.
If topaz was a liquid it would have this gleam.
And if the mystery of impalpable objects was visible it would have this aura:
So Elixir’s bottle was designed by Tsé&Tsé.
It feels soft and round in the palm of your hand and quivers to the rhythm
of its fragrance like a burning pebble exuding heat.
A flower unfolds its petals on the box.
So Elixir. In the beginning…

SO ELIXIR by Yves Rocher,
a luminous and sensual
fragrance which leaves behind it
an unforgettable scent.

Eau de Parfum
An elixir of femininity for women who enjoy drawing attention
to themselves, who love feeling radiant and so very feminine…
A fragrance which lights up with the radiant freshness of bergamot before
opening into a sensual floral heart note which combines rose essence
with jasmine absolute. The extreme femininity of the fragrance unfurls
over a delicious and vibrant base of patchouli and Tonka bean essences
and incense extract.

Whom You Know Highly Recommends So Elixir...so seductive for spring!
It will awaken your Manhattan senses and enrapture the Manhattan men.
