On 21 May, Sotheby’s Hong Kong will offer wines direct from two of the most prestigious wine producers in France – Château Cheval Blanc and Château d’Yquem in Bordeaux. Prior to being shipped to Hong Kong, none of these wines have previously left the cellars in which they were placed immediately after being made. The sale will represent the first time that these wines have been offered with this flawless provenance in Asia. The sale, which will take place at the Mandarin Oriental, includes many of the most celebrated Cheval Blanc vintages including 1947, 1959, 1961 and 1982.

Continuing at the Mandarin Oriental on May 22, wines from seven important private collections will be offered in Sotheby’s first various owner wine sale in Hong Kong. In this Seven Stellar Cellars sale, all Bordeaux First Growths are represented in depth with wines from the most iconic vintages, including a particularly impressive selection from 1982.
