Before she reached her middle teens, she learned how to translate a photo in a fashion layout into a stylish outfit with perfect fit. “My years of designing for myself and friends using only illustrations from Western magazines – and a lot of help from my mom -- taught me a great deal about cutting and fitting different fabrics and body types. We had no patterns, so I designed right to the body. My years as a model for some of the top American designers let me hone that skill even more. And fit is the key to the Voda Swim line.”
