News From Ellen Christine Millinery

An update from Ellen Christine:

GET OUT YOUR MALLETS, AND YOUR HATS

The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is once again upon us.  For the third year, the ghosts of polo past on Governor's Island will have company.  And what company it will be: a stellar cast of handsome players (last year it included Prince Harry!), with Nacho Figueras from South America .  The horses are gorgeous too.
As a benefit for Sentebale, the event, brilliantly orchestrated by the fabulous folks at Veuve Clicquot , attracts thousands.  Not to be missed, whether it be at a reserved table, or on the bleachers, the day includes star sightings, polo, lots of champagne, epicurean delights, and an extraordinary day on an extraordinary island.
This is proving to be one of the most important hat events of the New York City season, so hear ye, hear ye: plan your outfit and do it up proper.  The eyes of the world are upon us, New Yorkers..........where celebrities flock, so flock the paps.  Don't be caught with your hat down!

Our new HRH series was inspired by the hat we designed for Grey Goose/ Kentucky Derby, as worn superbly by Rebecca Romijn. The collection includes palest nude horse hair and organic straws, embellished with hand crafted blossoms. They are in our window this week, and one of them was chosen as the "hat du jour" yesterday. The Ellen Christine "hat du jour" can be seen on our blog at:
Wunderbloc

25%
of all HRH hats sold this season will go to Barnstable Brown.
