It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! We are so happy the Chicago Blackhawks under the Masterful Direction of Coach Joel Quenneville Captured the Stanley Cup Last Night!
The epitome of class, Coach Joel Quenneville first commented on what a great series it was between his opponents, the Philadelphia Flyers, and his team, the Chicago Blackhawks and complemented the Flyers for their play upon being interviewed by NBC right after winning the Stanley Cup last night. Why are we telling you about this if it was a game played in Philadelphia by a team from Chicago when Whom You Know is supposed to be about the Best of Manhattan, you may wonder? For one simple reason: it's not who you know, it's Whom You Know, and of everyone we have interviewed and written about for Whom You Know, you should know that the first thing Peachy wrote about was sports before Whom You Know existed, and of sports, hockey, because she was the statistician for the team at Boston College (note the maroon and gold color scheme of Whom You Know.)
As a teenager, Peachy used to write into the Hartford Courant letters to the Sports Editor, saying how Joel Quenneville should have been coach of the Whalers, when he was then coaching the Springfield Indians we believe. Maybe the Whalers would still be there if he had coached in Hartford. We also wished he was a coach at Boston College. Peachy has been plugging Joel for so long in writing, she is quite pleased that the rest of the world sees his clear pursuit of excellence in hockey today!
Whom You Know began in January of 2009. In February of 2009, the New York Rangers needed a coach. We recommended Joel:

Maybe it would have been the Rangers hoisting the Cup last night if Joel came to New York.
After two periods of Game One in the Western Conference Finals, we picked Chicago to win the Cup:

They advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals, winning Game One and we were singing their praises:

And we were telling you it's the most wonderful time of the year:

Why does Peachy unofficially and voluntarily do PR for Joel? It's because she's known him since she was the size of the Stanley Cup. We are all influenced by our childhood, and as we believe Thomas Jefferson said, we love those most whom we loved first. An honorary member of our family, Joel was always a great buddy for playing Canadian Rummy with, waterskiing, socializing with Peachy and her cabbage patch kids, and being an outstanding person to be around. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. And as he happened to win the Stanley Cup last night by means of an overtime goal that the goal judge did not see sharply at first, we could not be happier for him.
It really is the most wonderful time of the year. Congratulations Coach Joel Quenneville and the Chicago Blackhawks! Though Sinatra is known for singing New York, New York, we will take his route today and say Chicago is our kind of town!
