Repel the Rain with ShedRain and Peachy with the Fabulous Full Size Windjammer Umbrella! It May Be Sunny Now in Manhattan, But Isolated Thunderstorms are Predicted Later....Be Prepared with ShedRain, Highly Recommended by Whom You Know.

If you have been reading Whom You Know closely, you know this is the fourth appearance by ShedRain, who make amazing umbrellas.  We have not seen any brand on the market as outstanding as this one.  We have saved the best model for last-the Windjammer Model 2044.  With an 58" arc, 2-section shaft, automatic open and so many fabulous features, it is our favorite of all of the ones we tried...which is kind of like saying Veuve Clicquot the best out of all Champagnes...we love almost all Champagne and we do love each ShedRain umbrella we have tried.

This Windjammer is 21.5 inches closed, and when it's open, we think its best feature is the vented canopy - engineered to resist windy conditions and prevent Peachy Poppins!  The steel shaft and ribs combined with the wood ergonomic grip handle with leather strap are both sharp looking and durable, and the sofshock opening system will prevent you from pinched fingers.  We think the color combination of hunter and white is the most stunning, and of course it is perfect next to Talbots trench, previously featured in Repel the Rain:

This model is bigger than the first Windjammer we featured, so if you are going to have company, this is the preferred model of the two...We love the Windjammer Model!  We are big believers in brands that are unique to their industry.  Although many fashion brands make umbrellas, we have found they are not as smartly made.  We have no patience for products that lack design thought.  The handle on this Windjammer has a up button, and the button is not in a spot that you would accidentally push when holding it, unlike traditional umbrellas.  The grip is strong and sturdy, and this is a great looking umbrella as well.

Most of all, we love the wind vents.  No more Peachy Poppins!  The wind escapes and you wont be flying all around with your umbrella.  The Windjammer is flexible in the rain and will not leave you struggling, when it's not the only thing in your hand, as is inevitable these days.  Whom You Know highly recommends the Windjammer by ShedRain, and we are pleased to kick off our coverage of this illustrious American brand at Whom You Know.  Be prepared this afternoon and be sure to carry your Windjammer!
