Champagne Wishes: Blue Fish Original Riesling Recommended by Whom You Know! We are Pleased to Kick Off Our Coverage of Palm Bay

It is still summer in Manhattan, which is one of the best times to enjoy a crisp Riesling, and some of the best in the world come from Germany and specifically the Pfalz region; that part of Germany is prized for its climate: close to the Rhine, yet more southerly and slightly warmer, allowing ideal conditions for the noble Riesling grape.

The largest and most respected winery of the region, Niederkirchener Winemakers, is also among the oldest, having celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2001. The winery is gifted, not only with a wealth of traditional expertise, but the extensive resources available to such a large and successful
enterprise. Niederkirchener has launched Blue Fish, an exciting new brand that showcases its
expertise in producing extraordinary Riesling.

Blue Fish Riesling is estate- bottled at a state-of-the-art winery with the most modern vinification equipment, temperature controls and winemaking techniques, yielding a premium quality wine at an exceptional value.

We found this wine to be sharp and sensory highlighting notes of peaches, apple and apricots...and anything with peachy notes we have a strong inclination towards....it is classically acidic and balances well with a variety of dishes, particularly seafood.  The bottle is a gorgeous blue that we think is one of the nicest designs we've seen this summer, and the taste is satisfyingly smooth on your lips.  Invitingly tart, this is a Riesling you should turn to this weekend!  Whom You Know recommends the Blue Fish Original Riesling!
