DAYLIGHT: Penhaligon's and L'Artisan Parfumeur Launch Two New Scents!!!

Oh how we love Penhaligon's!  There really is something about a perfume when it's made by a brand that puts their utmost into producing the ultimate in quality, and there is something about a perfume when it is produced by a parfumeur rather than a mass market retailing monster.  Peachy Deegan is a bit English, so in that regard too she delights in Penhaligon's!  Though she is not French, we love the French culture and can't wait to tell you about Pierre Lion's latest creation in Peachy's Pantry, but we will tell you about L'Artisan Parfumeur first...did you know that Penhaligon's and L'Artisan Parfumeur are owned by the same company?  You do now!  This is our first coverage of L'Artisan Parfumeur, however, Peachy Deegan has been familiar with them since her early Sniffapalooza days....

The iconic L’Artisan Parfumeur and Penhaligon’s hosted an exclusive sneak peek into their latest fragrances collections.  Kir Royales and decadent macaroons enhanced an already enticing experience for the senses. L’Artisan Parfumeur is a legacy all on its own.  The company boasts a fragrance collection dating back to the early 1900’s and occasionally re-releases these iconic fragrances into circulation for limited amounts of time. What an exciting approach to creating a mysterious availability in a market where most are simply mass marketed.  The beauty behind the line is the artistic approach to each fragrance, invoking an emotional response, like a loving memory, and arousing the senses much like an exquisite meal.  The complex layers of each fragrance certainly entice one’s imagination.  This approach creates an artisanal olfactory experience that is sure to delight!

Penhaligon’s Christmas Collection was fantastic! A whimsical collection of miniature hat boxes wrapped in vibrant velvet ribbon and decorated with an array of enchanting little animals.  The effect was surreal, just like a fairy tale Christmas story! Inside, the boxes contain little treasures – choices range from miniature fragrance collections, shower gels and lotions, to lovely candles for the home.  A wonderful gift!  They must have known Peachy and the beautiful women of Whom You Know were coming as they were well-stocked with sparkling wine, Chambord, which we have recommended:

and Bulldog Gin, which we have also recommended:

Stay tuned, we will be telling you about their fragrances too!  If you are not wearing these fragrances, they are well-deserving of a spot on your fragrance tray!!!
