Finally, we tried the Peanut Brittle. Oozing with candy goodness, the crunchy sugary naughtiness combined with the satin smooth finish of the ice cream we know and love proved to be a combination no one at Whom You Know could resist. We try to be good all week so we can fit into our fabulous Donna Ricco dresses but on Friday, we belong to Ben and Jerry! Happy Friday Whom You Know readers, and here is what Peachy's Pantry Panel had to say:
After tasting the Peanut Brittle ice cream, it was like being at the fair. I love getting peanut brittle from the fair, and this was the perfect way to remind me of that without breaking my teeth. It did have that same crunch mixed in, but I knew it wouldn't break my teeth. I also loved that there were swirls of carmel throughout the ice cream as well. Two of my favorite flavors all in one--carmel and peanut butter. It was a spoonful of sweet and salty goodness in one bite. This is one flavor that I will have to stock up in my freezer. This is definitely a new favorite!
Ben and Jerry's Peanut Brittle ice cream is so delicious! This ice cream packs a great crunch. If you're in a sweet and salty mood welcome to an amazing cold treat. I love the caramel and peanut combo. It really comes together beautifully. I love the butter taste of the brittle. Normally peanut brittle gets stuck in your teeth but with whatever recipe they used that's not the case here. A simple candy that has been transformed into a wonderful ice cream experience! Go out there and grab some while it lasts!
Peanut brittle might be one of my all time favorite candies, but since my daughter has peanut allergies, I don’t feel comfortable having peanut products (or any nut products for that matter) anywhere near our house. The office, however, has become my sanctuary, and that is the place where I often indulge in eating all the things I don't dare bring home. Let me just say that I couldn't be more excited that Ben and Jerry's has put my favorite candy in an ice cream!!! The creamy ice cream for which B and J is known, chunks of peanuts brittle, and swirls of caramel join together in ice cream matrimony. Talk about heavenly! There's a little bit of everything in every bite, so there's no need to dig around looking for the good stuff. It's ALL good! Two days ago I skipped lunch and at a pint of this ice cream instead. So bad...SOOOOOOOOO good
Whom You Know highly recommends Ben & Jerry's Peanut Brittle Ice Cream!
