Congratulations Boston College Football and Mark Herzlich! See Herznation among our Favorite Links...

If you are an avid reader, you know Peachy Deegan practices the religion of Boston College football, and has for years. If you think she loves Manhattan, you should see her in action in Alumni Stadium, where she is super-enthused always. Congratulations to the BC Eagles on their first win of the season 38-20 over Weber State, and an even bigger congratulations to Mark Herzlich for beating cancer and inspiring us all. Herzlich returned to the field for the first time Saturday since being diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer called Ewing's sarcoma. Even the nuns from Notre Dame were on hand to cheer for Mark! One we heard missed her first Notre Dame game in 60 years to see him play... Well done Eagles we are so proud of you and only regret that we did not make the post-game festivities in the Mods and Hillsides, but perhaps for another game! 26 more days until the Holy War...
