Lime Rock Legends: 2010 Honored Collector, Joe Freeman
Joe Freeman has loved cars all of his life, and it was in 1970 that he took a driving school at Lime Rock Park, the start of his racing career. Joe made it to The Nationals, finishing seventh in his Formula B Brabham BT 35. A big crash forced an end to his racing career. Joe then began writing for the racing press, eventually starting his own publishing business, Racemaker Press. Along the way he began collecting, with a particular affinity for American cars- especially those with Indianapolis 500 connections. Joe's collection is an eclectic one and the cars you saw at Lime Rock Park Labor Day Weekend reflect his wide and informed range of automotive taste and knowledge...
