An Update from Our Mover and Shaker, Melody Fader!
We have known Melody longer than the vast majority of anyone covered on Whom You Know, and this she is a talent you should be familiar with! Here she is as a Mover and Shaker:
She tells us:
My big project for the summer has been to make a new, all-Chopin CD. Its been going quite well, so far. I recorded the music at the beginning of August, and I hope to have the editing done by the end of September so that I can get to work on producing it and getting it ready for release, both physically, and for download. In order to do all this, I created a kickstarter page to raise funds to make this project happen. So far, I have gotten so much generous support from all sorts of people. Its very gratifying. But in order to get the $3,500 which I proposed, I need to reach that goal by September 22. I’m halfway through the 40 days that I allotted myself, and over 70% to the goal, which is amazing! But I still have almost $1,000 to raise. I appreciate all of you who have pledged your support so far. Its amazing how all the little bits really do add up, so please give something if you can, or forward the information onto others who might be interested in helping. Here is the link:
Besides this, I have quite a few concerts coming up in various parts of the country. I would love to see you there, and if you know someone in one of the areas that is not your home, please feel free to pass the info on….and if you need more specifics, please feel free to ask!
