What Conair Did for Fashion Week!

In celebration of September Fashion Week and
Fashion’s Night Out, Conair teamed up with the Union Square Agency to create a

pop-up environment in the historic Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal. The

hall was transformed into “Fashion Central,” an interactive atmosphere where

consumers can experience the excitement of Fashion Week without an invitation!

Conair promoted their latest Infiniti Pro by Conair™ Dryer by offering

complimentary hair consultations, quick fixes, demonstrations, and discounts at the

event.

“There is something so brilliant about seeing a woman admire herself in the mirror

after receiving a fabulous blowout,” said Stacey Orecchio, Senior PR Rep for Conair

Corporation. She adds, “Beautiful hair is truly the best way to complete any outfit!”

In addition, the Conair Beauty Patrol taped confessions of “worst hair days” and
giving each participant a ticket providing her or him with a summons to view their video

confession online. Conair will select the top 5 videos and ask online visitors to vote

for their favorite.   You know it is impossible to have a bad hair day at Whom You Know-just read Salon Peachy to discover the best talent in the hair industry in Manhattan-so Peachy did not participate in this.  The first 50 entries will receive a sleek TRINA wristlet, and the most

outstanding confession will win a new wardrobe of Conair’s hottest styling tools and

a $100 gift card to Bloomingdale’s. The winner will be announced October 1, 2010, on

www.conairbeautypatrol.com, where contest details can be found.

Conair is excited to sponsor “Fashion Central” with Union Square this September and
supports Vogue’s efforts to increase participation in Fashion’s Night Out on September

10. For Fashion’s Night Out, Grand Central will host a hospitality event complete with

food, drinks and special appearances. “Fashion Central” will celebrate the spirit of

Fashion Week by bringing consumers and industry insiders to one location. This is not

your typical fashion event!
