Top Teeth October Exclusive: Dr. Garo Nazarian, Our First Mover and Shaker, Chats With Peachy Deegan About How To Keep Your Smile in the Best Shape! Don't Look Like a Jack O'Lantern, go to Cosmopolitan Dental!!!

It is autumn in Manhattan, and like everywhere across America in Manhattan we are carving pumpkins!  But we hope your smile doesn't look like a Jack O'Lantern!  That won't look too good in the Patrick McMullan photos so we turn to our original Mover and Shaker, Dr. Garo Nazarian of Cosmopolitan Dental, to comment on how you can prevent looking like a toothless pumpkin.  Whom You Know Highly Recommends Cosmopolitan Dental and it is the only place that Peachy goes to to maintain her amazing smile.  Garo is the greatest!  We chatted with him recently.

Peachy Deegan: Have you carved a pumpkin and if so how did the smile come out?
Dr. Garo Nazarian, DDS: I bought a few pumpkins, but did not carve them.

We go religiously to get our teeth cleaned every six months because how good would that Tom Ford lipstick look if our teeth were not in shape!  What is an easy way for people to remind themselves to visit you regularly?
I have my office manager remind our patients when they are due for their for their six month cleanings. One way to keep on top of your cleanings is to schedule an appointment right away or keep your eye out on our postcards that arrive one month in advance with a reminder about your appointment or that you are due for one.

In between visits, what regular things should people do other than brush their teeth three times a day?
Flossing is very important to maintain a healthy smile.

Are there any other secrets to having a great smile our readers should know?
It is very important to attend your biannual cleanings even if you don't experience any pain. That's key for preventing any future oral complications.

If your smile does look like a Jack O'Lantern, what can you do to fix it?
Schedule an appointment with Cosmopolitan Dental!

What is Cosmpolitan Dental doing to celebrate the fall?
We continue seeing and treating our patients, and welcome new ones!
