The recipe remains to this day unchanged; no shortcuts, no substitutions. It is made with California plum tomatoes, 100 % olive oil, fresh garlic, basil, and spices! There are no fillers, additives, thickeners or artificial ingredients. Additionally, it's gluten free with no tomato paste, no water added, no added salt or sugar because the tomatoes are so sweet too. The oil is such high quality, the garlic is fresh, and the basil is pungent and abundant. Dell'Amore Sauce is perfect on any pasta of course. It is wonderful on cheese ravioli. Peachy Deegan is so crazy about it she has started to grab a spoon and just eat it out of the jar inbetween writing posts as she has developed an addiction. The cannery in Colchester, VT is FDA inspected and approved and it is also O.U. Kosher certified which means that in addition to the facility being inspected monthly, all the ingredients used are inspected to confirm consistency with the product ingredients used. i.e.: they don't switch from one brand ingredient to another in order to save money. Knowing this, the consumer can be assured the product is always the same.

I just figured out that Dell’Amore has a few different premium marinara sauces. I have first tried Dell’s original recipe marinara sauce and decided to make this the official sauce of my house. There is no other sauce that can compare to the homemade taste in a jar to make life for easy for a busy family. We use this sauce for everything Italian from chicken parm to lasagna to dipping sauce. We even used Dell' Amore for almost homemade pizza. Well I just discovered Dell' Amore Spicy recipe marinara sauce. The spicy recipe marinara is has the same great taste but with a little kick. My wife loves it with some sautéed shrimp over linguine. I love it with sausage onion and peppers tossed with ziti with shredded parmesan cheese. I said it before and I will say it again - Dell’Amore is our sauce of choice.

It is so fortunate that this panel is anonymous because my mother still thinks I ONLY eat her sauce, but now you know my secret. This is such a fresh tomato sauce with true authentic spices, and I don't know how they do it. I am not into very spicy foods but this is the perfect spiciness: it has just enough kick without being overbearing. The volume and quality of the consistency of the sauce is perfect: it's not runny, it's not oily, and it is just perfect. Dell' Amore's Spicy Recipe is not only a great red sauce but it also has an amazing kick. I love adding heat to any dish. This is one of the best red sauces that does so. For those you can't handle too much heat don't worry it doesn't hurt! Oh and the best part is that this sauce tastes homemade! I make pasta about once a week - I generally keep it simple but this sauce spices things up. I have never enjoyed a plain old pasta with such an amazing sauce. This sauce brought my pasta to life with basically no effort on my behalf. The taste is bold with a nice flare of heat. If you want to add life to any dish all you have to do is add Dell' Amore's Spicy Recipe sauce to any dish.
I grew up in an Italian family on my mom's side and had lots of experiences with homemade sauce. The recipe that my great-grandmother made has been handed down. Because of this, I have become picky about the sauce I use for anything Italian I make. I haven't found anything in a jar that I have liked, until now. The Hot and Spicy is perfect for when you want to have pasta with sauce but want to have an extra "kick" with it. Pasta with sauce is like a comfort food for me.
