READ THIS: ROOMS TO INSPIRE IN THE CITY Stylish Interiors for Urban Living By Annie Kelly Photographs by Tim Street-Porter

It's cold outside, Manhattan so we are spending more time than ever indoors...is your Chez Peachy the best it could be?  For inspiring ideas to shake up your space and improve it a bit, we recommend reading "Rooms to Inspire in the City."  Whether you are a prep like Peachy or favor more alternative designs, this book is universally appealing to all high class tastes.

Every Rizzoli book we have ever reviewed is truly a work of art.  This is a publisher that consistently produces excellence and if you find a book in your hand that is coffee table quality you should not be surprised one bit if it's by Rizzoli.

In this particular work of art, Peachy Deegan loved Carolina Irving's Upper East side apartment the best...and we guess the author and/or the people at Rizzoli thought so too as it landed on the cover of this book.  The room on page 186 makes us want to live in it and we particularly like the bookcases and color scheme.  Happy Chic spread some light on the dim winter we're about to enter.  We definitely thought the bedrooms on pages 126-7 were ideal for kids.  We loved the basement of pink and green on page 150.  And of course Peachy's chandelier addiction was fed...love the ones in the San Francisco Town House.  The only thing these rooms are missing is a fabulous pillow accent by Berry Brown....

Towards the end one of the highlights of the whole book was the tips to store all of your books in the city-we all need that!

Truly stylish interiors for urban living, Rooms to Inspire in the City is a must-read for all Manhattan dwellers!  You'll love it.
