However, it's quickly won itself a place of honor in my daily beauty regimen. Made with "the little berry that could," sea buckthorn, this moisturizer packs a powerful punch in the daily fight against the elements. In doing so, it also becomes a great tool in the war against aging skin! The sea buckthorn berry thrives in the harsh climate of the Tibetan Himalayas, and it is able to do so because it is fortified with some incredible nutrients, including Omegas 3, 6, 7, and 9, carotenoids, flavonoids, antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. All of these nutrients also work wonders for skin, so in making a facial moisturizer that features the sea buckthorn berry, Sibu has created a dream product! The moisturizer is light and non-greasy, yet it is definitely substantial. After using it, my skin is incredibly soft and has a lovely glow...and I know that the ingredients are working their hardest to protect my skin from environmental damage. The Repair and Protect Facial Cream feels much lighter than the body cream; when applied it leaves a very light weight moisturizing layer that dries fast and without much residue. I usually use powder foundations in the summer, which layer easily over facial creams. However, in the winter when skin is generally drier, this cream could be applied under a liquid foundation for more moisturizing punch. It has less slip than many creams, so it feels different when you apply it. It rejuvenates sun damaged skin and protects against environmental stress. It’s light, non greasy and absorbs readily into the skin to allow for quick make-up application. This light non-greasy cream is ideal for daily use and offers a pleasing light citrus scent. This cream has also been great for my rosacea. I have a hard time finding products that help calm the redness rosacea causes. Even my co-workers noticed. When I do find a product that works, I have to write it down! Nevertheless, it gets the job done and is less shiny than many creams I've tried before, which is a plus for me. Bonus: the facial cream comes in a neat frosted glass bottle that looks nice and elegant on your bathroom counter. This would make a wonderful gift. I highly recommend this cream.

As a woman of a certain age, my complexion is definitely at the stage that it's showing the first signs of aging and it's critical that I have an effective facial cream in my skincare lineup that will help fight it off as long as possible. Antioxidants are a must in this battle, as the wear and tear on my skin are definitely starting to show. Sibu's Sea Buckthorn Facial Cream, containing the hardy sea buckthorn berry, is full of the antioxidants and various nutrients such as Omegas 3, 6, 7, 9, carotenoids, flavonoids, and minerals and vitamins that help me do battle with time. This cream is ultra-moisturizing on my skin without leaving a sheen of oil behind that's typical of richer moisturizers. My skin feels rejuvenated and pampered when I put this on every morning. The very appealing sea buckthorn fragrance is mildly citrusy and refreshing, which is a really nice pick-me-up for my skin each morning. The only improvement I'd make to this product would be to add some sunscreen to it, though this can be easily remedied by applying a separate sunscreen over it.

Sea Buckthorn Facial Cream is by far the best I've used. I love the feel of it as I massage it into my face and I love the way my face feels even more! This product is really top notch. I've never had great skin - part dry, part oily, frequent breakouts. The breakouts have left my skin with some discoloration, and I'm not one for covering flaws with makeup. What I've noticed after just a week of using the Facial Cream is that my skin tone is evening out. I have a healthy glow about me that people have noticed, and I have softer skin on my face than I've had in a really long time. The light scent of the Facial Cream is what I consider to be a totally unnecessary perk. Not flowery or medecine-y, the scent is good, but not overpowering. The best thing about the cream is that it moisturizes without leaving my skin feeling greasy. The cream is absorbed into the skin, leaving only soft, glowing skin as evidence that I've put anything on my face at all. I dare say I'm looking younger, but I'm going to wait to see if my husband notices. I've already had some people at work mention that I "look good" but with nothing specific, I can't be sure what it is. My money is on the Facial Cream, though!
