NYCREW's Jan 11th Event:"Global Trends in the 2011 Real Estate Capital Markets"

NYCREW LAUNCHES 10th ANNIVERSARY YEAR WITH
2011 ECONOMIC PREVIEW ON JANUARY 11, 2011

NYCREW members and guests looking for a road map to better understand the prospects for real estate and the capital markets in the coming year, need wait no longer than Tuesday, January 11, 2011, when NYCREW's Industry Spotlight Series on Finance will feature restructuring and workout specialist Dennis P. Yeskey.  Yeskey will discuss "Global Trends in the 2011 Real Estate Capital Markets" at NYCREW Network's first event of its tenth anniversary year. The session will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the offices of event sponsor Crowell & Moring LLP, 590 Madison Avenue, 20th floor.
 
     Yeskey, managing director of New York City-based global consulting firm AlixPartners LLP, will give an overview of the real estate and capital markets, focusing on relevant economic conditions and developments, and challenges and opportunities likely to occur during the year.

     Dennis Yeskey joined AlixPartners in July 2009 to grow the firm's global real estate practice among other initiatives. Previously, he served as national director of the Real Estate Capital Markets practice for Deloitte Consulting LLP. He also has worked with Kenneth Leventhal & Co., Price Waterhouse Coopers and A.T. Kearney Inc. He has been involved in dozens of high-profile workouts, restructurings and reorganizations, including work with Travelers Life Insurance Co, Prudential Financial Inc, and Trump Organization. He also has worked in real estate purchases for clients including Apollo Management Co., Blackstone Group, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, and with several government agencies, including the US Resolution Trust Corp., US Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and with Japanese and United Kingdom governmental entities.
