See Manhattan On Your Feet Continues to be Impressed with Zita Maria: The Mercede in Red is Highly Recommended By Whom You Know! It's What Peachy Deegan Wore to Jean's and then Swifty's Last Night!
To put color in your shoe, you need to know you are working with a brand that is all about the pursuit of excellence in footwear and let us assure you, Zita Maria is fabulous. Red shoes draw attention to your feet and everyone at the cocktail party will be sure to notice! And notice they did, because the Mercede is a showstopper all the way! The is among the softest suedes we have ever encountered in life; it is like butter, but red of course. Think red velvet cake for your feet! Don't eat the shoes though, go to Swifty's and eat crabcakes.
With a three inch heel, the Mercede gives you height without making you stumble or appear to be ridiculous-you know what Peachy's talking about if you venture to some parts of the shore on the other side of the Hudson river. The sole is pure quality and has traction-which is obviously key. No one wants to be slipping around in beautiful shoes. Of course, we recommend wearing these inside only as they are absolutely gorgeous and undeserving of the weather conditions in Manhattan in January.
The Mercede pump is a fashionista's best friend with it's simple yet sophisticated design and high heel. Whom You Know highly recommends the Mercede in red by Zita Maria!!!
The stats from the stats girl:
Heel Height:3"
Made in:Italy "Amo Le Scarpe Italiane!!!" exclaims Peachy.
Fit:True to Size
Upper:Suede

Created in memory of a mother from the old world...
ZitaMaria’s roots go back to a time when shoe making was a passion. They were raised in old shoe making towns in the Tuscany region of Italy. Shoemaking was in their blood and drew spirit from the artisans and craftsmen they employed.
Brought to America by a son determined to preserve a family tradition...
Donald Elefante, son of ZitaMaria and president of D.R.E. Imports, Inc. knew that the time was right to bring the work of his family to America. “Americans are looking for high quality footwear after decades of less well made imports”. Donald’s family roots in Italy have been involved with either leather tanneries or shoe making factories for over 40 years. “We hand pick the best leathers, help design the silhouettes, and keep the business small enough to oversee all operations on a personal level”. Beginning with their first delivery to the U.S. in the fall of 1997 ZitaMaria has developed a loyal customer base and continues to serve their customers with great service. The ZitaMaria work ethic has never changed: hard work, high style and quality.
Crafted by an extended family of relatives and long time Italian employees who are proud of what they do...
The art of making shoes in the Italian tradition is almost as old as Italy itself: designing silhouettes, creating the lasts, hand selecting the leathers and actually hand stitching certain parts of the shoe; these skills are still preserved at ZitaMaria. Members of our work team have been with our family business for generations. We work together with an emotional commitment to make good shoes that last.
