Take a Trip to Boston: Beanpot Coaches Recruited to Same Team

What could bring four battling beanpot coaches to work together? On Wednesday, November 10 at 11 a.m., Boston University’s Jack Parker, Boston College’s Jerry York, Northeastern’s Greg Cronin, and Harvard’s Ted Donato put aside all rivalries and united at Boston University’s Agganis Arena to raise awareness for United Way in its effort to ensure more youth have the opportunities they need to build successful futures.   Whom You Know strongly supports Boston College and in particular, Boston College Hockey and Peachy was even the team stats girl when she was a student.  We also support United Way.

Forty thousand youth in our region are expected to drop out of school in the next four years, cutting off their chances at long-term stability and success.  United Way is working to unite the region to give, advocate, or volunteer to help keep young people engaged in school and graduating with options for the future.

Cronin, Donato, Parker and York took part in the LIVE UNITED photo shoot, which celebrates the community’s ability to come together to drive change.  Prints of the shoot will appear throughout the region this winter. New England Patriot Jerod Mayo, 2009 Miss Massachusetts Amanda Kelly, and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino have also been featured in the LIVE UNITED campaign.
