An Update from Mover and Shaker Tim Morehouse!

Tim tells us:

Hi Peachy!

Happy 2011!

This is crazy for me to believe, but Olympic qualification is now only 4 months away! I just got back from Dallas where I took gold in the largest competition in USA history in my discipline. There was a bit of drama in the quarter-finals when I was trailing 11-14 in a match to 15, but I managed to rally and claim a 15-14 win before advancing past the next two opponents to win. While this is small, the win secures my ranking of at a minimum in the top-8 in the USA for next season. Only 8 can travel to world cups which help you qualify for the Olympic team so while it is only a small step, it is a step nonetheless! We head off to Bulgaria on Feb. 2nd for the first world cup of the season and then we're in Europe 7 days and home 8 days and back-and-forth 4 times with tournaments in Moscow, Budapest and Italy.

In other news, I was just on Access Hollywood Live teaching their anchors to fence.
