NYPL News February 2011: NYPL's Majestic Fifth Avenue Building Sparkles Again

NYPL's Majestic Fifth Avenue Building Sparkles Again

Yesterday, the 390-foot-long Fifth Avenue facade of NYPL's Stephen A. Schwarzman Building was officially unveiled after three years of extensive, careful restorations. "It's thrilling to see each detail of this Beaux-Arts masterpiece emerge so beautifully, especially as the building's Centennial approaches," says Library President Paul LeClerc. We are sure that you will be thrilled, too, as you find out more about the sparkling landmark building and its painstakingly detailed rejuvenation.
