The Stars of Doritos Pug Attack Tied to Win First Place in the USA Today Ad Meter! Sound Designer Patrick Knipe Chats With Peachy Deegan Post-Superbowl!

Obviously, Oko Nono herself is probably driving her red Vette to Disneyland and partying like it's 1999 like she said she'd do...and wouldn't you if you were tied for #1 on the USA Today Ad Meter after the Superbowl?  When she comes up for air we'll check in with her, and in the meantime we caught up with Patrick Knipe, famed sound person behind it all who of course went to Boston College. And did you notice the winning team last night had 2 Boston College players on it and the losing team had zero?  An accident?  We don't think so: http://atleagle.blogspot.com/2011/02/super-eagles.html

Patrick Knipe tells Peachy Deegan:
" I'm incredibly psyched for Tess and JR who produced and directed the commercial, got engaged 1 week ago, went to the Super Bowl and won $1 million. The stuff of dreams. There were 3 Doritos winners and 3 Pepsi Max Winners that aired. Now we're waiting the see the USA Today Ad Meter Results. If Pug Attack takes #1 on the Ad Meter it wins an additional $1 million, if it takes #2 it gets $600,000, if it takes #3 it gets $300,000. If Doritos/Pepsi commercials take 1,2,3 they each get an additional $1 million on top of those prizes.
I'm psyched PUG ATTACK played early in the game when the most people are watching. I know the whole crew is ecstatic, I haven't spoken to Oko Nono yet, I think she's become so famous already that I now have to make an appointment with her people."
