News from Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance

The 16th Annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance to benefit the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida was held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 was held at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Hundreds of classic cars from around the country were on display to be viewed by the thousands in attendance. Chamber of Commerce weather only added to the beauty of the cars as they received their prestigious awards in various categories. Motor Racing Heritage Association, of Daytona Beach, President Ron Piasecki was accompanied by MRHA Director Dan Smith who had been a judge at previous events. Judging these beautiful pieces of machinery was difficult again, how do you choose one perfect automobile over another excellently prepared vehicle? Next years event will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Ferrari 250 GTO. If you are in the Jacksonville, Florida area next March, add this event on your list of things to do.

It was a "chamber of commerce" day at The Golf Club of Amelia Island at Summer Beach without a cloud in the sky. Our congratulations go to:
