Sole Support: Empire Shoe Repair Recommended by Whom You Know

You know we love shoes and now we have four, not three, columns to prove it. It is not only you that has to go to the spa for some R&R, it is also your shoes so we are on a mission to find places for your shoes to be perked up. Empire Shoe Repair impressed us by resoling Peachy Deegan's prized Ralph Lauren penny loafers, which she has worn since age 14. These are her absolute most favorite shoes, and Empire polished them to a shine that does not reveal their age of 21 so you can kind of think of Empire as the La Mer for shoes, not your face...also they did a great job repairing a zipper on one of her boots. You know she is typically not a fan of boots but she does have a great pair by Enzo Angiolini that she bought when she lived in Boston, and boots were classier back in the day then and didn't have the trashy Jersey Shore look that some find en vogue now...not us.
