Gracious Galleries: Gabriele Vigorelli

Gabriele Vigorelli sees beauty as both physical and spiritual, and therefore beauty is found in this inner/outer harmony. Gabriele's far-reaching approach to all of his artistic endeavors – from hair styling to painting, is to incorporate his training as both a stylist and yogi, providing a remarkably holistic experience.  He has previously been featured in Salon Peachy:
Gabriele's career as a stylist began in Milan over 30 years ago and has taken him across the globe. A listing of his collaborations is testimony to his level of craftsmanship: American, French and Italian Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Patrick Demarchelier, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Versace, Valentino, Donna Karan and Jil Sander.   Gabriele splits his time between styling and painting; by day he brings his talent to Sharon Dorram Color at Sally Hershberger. It is here that Gabriele is able to fully realize his mission of making each client look and feel good, a "beauty clarified."  And these clients value his artistic approach as much for their beauty as for their dwellings, collecting his art and commissioning his work to style their offices and homes.
For Gabriele, styling and painting is all about energy and communication, and a relaxed, dynamic exchange between artist and client enables the vital creative process. This method allows Gabriele to tap into a client's inner consciousness in order to gain an uncanny perception of who they are and the image they wish to portray. By combining his technical expertise with his willingness to see each client as a unique and complete individual, Gabriele provides a highly personalized and versatile image that is not constrained to a single look.  Gabriele sees beauty with the keen eye of a passionate artist and allows this vision to transcend all his work.
He applies this same dynamic with his paintings, which are collected by art and spiritually minded enthusiasts.  His portfolio of work encompasses almost 20 years of his personal journey; from the most difficult dark time in his life until today, where he lives a peaceful and balanced life. Through his painting, hair styling and yoga, Gabriele has found a simple and peaceful mantra.  His own quest for Enlightenment is the theme of his body of work and the art clearly speaks the truth about his beautiful and insightful passage.
