Exhibitions are in galleries at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s main building, located at Eighth and F streets N.W., unless otherwise noted. Exhibitions of craft and decorative arts are at the museum’s branch, the Renwick Gallery, located on Pennsylvania Avenue at 17th Street N.W.; brief descriptions of Renwick exhibitions begin on p. 4. Continuing exhibitions are listed on p. 5 and nationally touring exhibitions are listed on p. 6. Rotating installations of work from the museum’s permanent collection are listed on p. 6.
