An Update from Movers and Shakers Will & Anthony Nunziata!
Will and Anthony, Movers and Shakers and fellow Boston College alums with Peachy, update us and say:
Before we update you on our performance schedule, we wanted to let you know how thrilled we were to have been asked to be apart of a segment on ABC'S Good Morning America on Thursday. It was great fun, and the reporter doing the piece, John Berman, even plugged our singing! Please see the link below to see the segment:
Back to performing... so far in 2011, we spent two weeks in February performing our new concert at The Colony Hotel's Royal Room and then at the Asolo Theatre in Sarasota. The audiences in both West Palm Beach and Sarasota were fantastic! Special thanks to Roger Everingham and Rob Russell at The Colony and John Fischer and Lee & Jerry Ross in Sarasota. While in Sarasota, we visited Booker High School for the Performing Arts and had the privilege to talk with kids interested in pursuing the performing arts as part of our new Double Duty Educational Outreach Program.
Also in February, we had the privilege to give a special concert for the amazing kids at the Ronald McDonald House in NYC. Special thanks to Helen Stafford at the RMDH for introducing us to her wonderful charity and special home for kids & their families in need. We are excited to be coming back in April to give a concert for the parents & adults of the children. Can't wait!
In March, we spent some time in the Midwest performing, mainly in Wisconsin. We performed our new concert at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center in Brookfiled, WI and then at the Fond du Lac Performing Arts Center in Fond du Lac, WI. We had a great time talking with the Music/ Theatre students at Brookfield HS in Brookfield, WI and later at the Youth Program at the Fond du Lac Salvation Army and students at Fond du Lac HS.
In May we are off to Singapore to sing at a private Gala Event. Very excited about this trip, and if you've been, let us know what's to see! May also brings performances in Orlando, Florida and Cape Cod, MA. End of June and beginning of July bring us back at The Colony in West Palm Beach, with a concert at the end of June in Chautauqua Amphitheater at the Chautauqua Institution (it was recently featured on PBS, looks like a really special place!)
In the beginning of July we are performing in Wayne, NJ, and the end of July (July 30th in Mashpee, MA) as Guest Artists with the Brockton Symphony Orchestra at the Mashpee Commons.
In the middle of July from July 19-23, we are thrilled to have been asked back to Feinstein's at Loews Regency for five performances. We'd love to see many of you as we bring our brand new concert back to NYC. The concert is directed by Eric Michael Gillett and musical direction by Tedd Firth. Tickets can be purchased by calling 212-339-4095.
