KUSMI TEA RELEASES NEW EDITION OF IMPERIAL LABEL Parisian Tea House Introduces New Edition of a Royal Blend, Recommended by Whom You Know
The Imperial Label Tea by Kusmi has such an intriguing name. I had never tried this blend before and thought how is that possible. When you hear the ingredients they use for this blend, you will run right out and buy a box. A green tea flavored with orange and vanilla, some cinnamon, licorice root and sea blackthorn berries. Could anything sound more delicious then that! Now with that in mind, my standards of what it should taste like are held very high. My expectations were exceeded and this tea was to die for. Sensual aromas mixed with enlightening flavors made this so enjoyable.
This is my favorite tea by far! It comes in a beautiful box with gold accents which makes it very suitable for display. The muslin bags are unusual but really work well. The tea seeps nicely, and you can actually see the tea leaves expand. I was a little nervous of the blend (green tea with orange and cinnamon) because it didn't really sound like anything I would be interested in (I don't usually sip green tea), but boy was I wrong! The flavor is subtle, but very tasty. This tea goes perfectly with a book on a quiet afternoon.
I have tried many different kinds of green tea and have found many to be quite delightful, but this one takes the cake! Kusmi Tea's Imperial Label not only tastes good, but is good for you! This exquisite tea was developed exclusively for the famous New York cosmetic giant, Kiehl's. It was inspired by their Imperial Body Balm Label which is rich in antioxidants and helps to protect the skin. The Imperial Label tea is also rich in antioxidants, helping to ward off environmental damage to the body, making it a wonderful addition to any daily routine of well-being. The tea contains sea-buckhorn berries which are rich in oils and vitamins. Also, containing orange, cinnamon and liquorice, this tea is simply delicious!
Kusmi Imperial Label tea is amazing! I really love this tea. It's smooth and full. I save this tea for the weekends when I have time to sip and savor the flavor. I will use and abuse cheaper teas but this one is too good to do that to. This tea is great for any time of day. Get yourself a cup and you'll see!

Kusmi Tea of Paris, a brand known for its traditional Russian style teas for the last 140 years, has unveiled the new face of Imperial Label Green Tea. A blend of Chinese Sencha green tea, orange, cinnamon, licorice root and sea buckthorn berries, Imperial Label tea was first created in November 2009 for Kiehl's, a renowned New York cosmetics brand. Exclusively available in Kiehl's and Kusmi Tea boutiques, Imperial Label has sparked the enthusiasm of beauty addicts and tea connoisseurs alike. Empowered by this passion, Imperial Label has adopted new colors for its packaging for a worldwide launch.
“We saw such a demand from those tea lovers who adore our Imperial Label that we redesigned our packaging and made the tea available worldwide,” said Sylvain Orebi, President of Kusmi Tea. “The ancient recipe is really something special and this blend has so many healthy benefits to it.”
To create Imperial Label, Kusmi drew its inspiration from a traditional hot drink called “Sbiten,” served in Russia as early as the 12th century. Marrying cinnamon, spices, orange peel and honey, this warming blend served as a forefather to the tea we all know and love today. Empowered by an unrivalled expertise in combining spiced and citrus blends, Kusmi Tea has modernized this time-honored infusion by replacing sugar with the natural sweetness of licorice and injected the authentic flavor of sea buckthorn berries.
Imperial Label is a fortifying and comforting blend which promotes well-being thanks to a fusion of green tea, spices and sea buckthorn. Sea buckthorn berries boast an exceptional richness in fatty acids, which are beneficial to the skin. The deeply hydrating citrus fruit from Russia was a key component in “Sbiten.” The orange peel within Imperial Label delights with its pleasantly tangy taste, while licorice adds a touch of sweetness, and green tea provides a variety of antioxidants.
The Kusmi Tea House offers a wide range of black and green tea blends as well as herbal infusions, all beautifully presented in multi-colored baroque-style tins.
