My mama’s Assistant is typing this letter as I gently bark (over speaker phone; thank goodness for speed-dial - - my paws are always getting in the way!).

I so enjoyed your column of Fri., 5/6 … those pictures really captured my good side, I must admit! Mama and I were very grateful for your coverage of the Women Who Care luncheon event. There’s been lots of feedback - - thanks muchly to you and James! - - that it was a terrific afternoon and very inspiring for all who attended. I understand the food was excellent, too, but, while the famous Cipriani Bellini was good, in all honesty, it doesn’t hold a candle to “The Peachy Deegan.”
