Cancer Survivors Celebrated Beauty with eSalon.com

In Honor of Susan G. Komen for the Cure Los Angeles County and National Cancer Survivor Day Cancer Survivors Celebrated Their Beauty at “Hair Color For A Cure”, Sponsored by eSalon.com and The Parlour on 3rd

eSalon.com, an online-based at home hair-coloring system, hosted the first “Hair Color For A Cure” event on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at The Parlour on 3rd in West Hollywood. Cancer Survivors were treated to a day of beauty with a complimentary hair color and styling by eSalon’s Color Director, Estelle Baumhauer, and the Parlour’s team of professional hair stylists. The event honored Susan G. Komen for the Cure Los Angeles County and National Cancer Survivor Day.

Each guest ordered her own custom-formulated, salon-quality hair color provided by eSalon.com and had a complete hair makeover at the Parlour, while sipping mimosas and snacking on cupcakes. Pia James, a three-time breast Cancer survivor and guest at Hair Color For A Cure event, said, “I had a great time and absolutely love my hair!!! I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve received and now I have a great place to purchase my color from and a new stylist for my cuts. Cancer has done such a number on me physically and emotionally, but I gained a much needed boost of confidence.”

Breast Cancer Survivor and guest at the event, Louise Kirst-Kaye, said, “I feel quite lovely and appreciate the talent, time and kindness of everyone at The Parlour on 3rd. The colorist and hair stylist were fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed my day and I walked away feeling beautiful not only with my hair but within too.”
