Music Icons Featuring Michael Jackson's "Thriller" Jacket

Julien’s Auctions Music Icons Auction event featuring over 600 iconic items from the world’s greatest artists of all time. Unprecedented museum quality exhibition in over 8,000 square feet featuring Michael Jackson’s video worn Thriller jacket and items representing the biggest names in rock-n-roll, Motown, jazz, country, pop and other genres. The auction includes many additional items from Michael Jackson including stage worn Fedora, the wig worn at his last press conference in London where he announced the “This is It” tour , a Michael Jackson signed sketch, a Michael Jackson worn American Music Awards glove and other personal effects. The Thriller jacket was designed by Deborah Nadoolman Landis.  Items from The Beatles, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Kurt Cobain, Madonna, Frank Sinatra, Garth Brooks, The Grateful Dead, Ozzy Osbourne, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, The Ramones, Elvis Presley, Fleetwood Mac, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and more are represented in the auction that chronicles the history of music like none other.

Other highlights include a John Entwistle signed bass guitar (estimate $4,000 - $6,000), a broken guitar neck and smashed guitar stand which did not survive Kurt Cobain’s antics at a Nirvana concert (estimate $2,000-3,000), an Eric Clapton signed Blackie Fender guitar (estimate $1,000-1,500),  A Janis Joplin signed contract rider (estimate $200-300), an MTV Moonman award for U2’s “With or Without You,” (estimate $2,000-3,000),  Madonna annotated sheet music (estimate $1,000-2,000),  Prince handwritten lyrics for “Electric Intercourse,” (estimate $400-600),  Steven Tyler signed harmonica (estimate $300-500), Fleetwood Mac Platinum Record Awards (estimate $500-700), A Les Paul signed guitar by the late inventor (estimate $5,000-7,000),  and an Elvis Presley original TCB necklace (estimate $20,000-40,000)
