It's that time of year again - the weather's heating up and summer sandals can be seen everywhere you turn! This summer, though, instead of my usual black or nude go-tos, I'll be sporting my new designer sandals by DiKat Designs. Raising the bar on the traditional flip flop, these feet treats are truly something special! Each pair of shoes boasts over 350 Swarovski Elements, which are each hand-placed on the high-end Brazilian flip flop. The design I'll be wearing this summer is the "Gold Coast," which is part of the "High Lite of the Night" collection. The nude color sandal has a 2.5" platform heel, and is bedazzled with Swarovski Crystals in Light Topaz, Silk, and Fire Opal. The sandals are super cute with shorts or capris, but fancy enough to wear with a dress or a skirt for a night out. They're also extremely comfortable, which makes it easy to want to wear them all day, every day! I've been wearing them for about a week now, and I've received compliments and envious stares left and right! The sandals are clearly made with a lot of love and care. Each pair comes packaged in a cute little tote bag, with each sandal individually wrapped in tissue paper. This helps preserve the life of the sandals and minimize damage, especially when packing in a suitcase or overnight bag. There are also special instructions on how to care for them (do not wear in the pool, ocean, lake, or shower; do not allow them to remain in a closed environment with hot temperatures for long periods of time, etc.), and how to replace crystals if any fall off (10 extra crystals are included). Truly a must-have for summer, these shoes make a perfect gift - whether it's for someone else, or for yourself! Flip Flops have made an incredible surge in the last couple of years entering into the world of acceptable footwear for any occasion. Siegerson Morrison came out with awesome kitten heel, rubber flip flops that changed people’s perception. Even for some of my dressy night parties I will wear a pair of my Manolo gold flip flops. From a casual day to a night out, flip flops are a great choice. However, you must have the right kind of flip flops to create the look. The next brand to really make a difference in the Flip Flop category is from a new company called DiKat Designs. I love the Super cute, platform rubber flips flops. Why do I love them? Because they are adorned in Swarovski crystals. The straps are covered in crystals creating a dressier, fashionable look. On top of that the platform area has different designs on them. Mine have flowers and stripes on them in bright colors. Perfect for so many different outfits. They complete my trendy bathing suit cover-ups look. I love them with a pair of white capris. They also ad flair to a khaki skirt and button down. I am a total prep but never on my feet. The new DiKat Flip Flops are the perfect statement for this summer!
I recently realized I had no cute flip flops for this summer. I hit the usual boutiques to find something cute, yet practical. I do have to chase after 2 little ones afterall. Oy. Not a lot out there. Then I found DiKat's flip flops. Dare I say this is love? Let's start with the fact that they are wedge style -- we all look better a few inches taller, so this is an absolute must. But, my favorite part, by far are the Swarovski Elements (i.e. fabulous crystal pieces). Not only are they on the straps, they are on the wedge istself too! And let me be clear, they are artfully designed by hand. This is quality you can see. They even sparkle from afar. I was at a friends home for a party the other night and I had the crowd a buzz with my adorable flops! They were just right for the backyard event (especially as I had walked there, so my feet weren't tired at all during the night). They also include additional Swarovski Elements so you can apply more, or fix, if goodness sakes, they lose a piece. That part is great, because who wants to be spotted in fabulous shoes that are missing a crystal? Not anyone of us who would wear the fabulous DiKat Designs!
Bling bling go my flip flops! DiKat Designed Gold flip flops are like nothing you've ever seen. I love not only how comfortable these flip flops are but that they're stylish. I always look for flip flops that are a bit taller than the rest. I love being tall and having the beautiful crystals beam off my feet. I have received many compliments on my very stylish flip flops. I love that they are unique and different than the rest. They are also very comfortable. I could walk for hours all around the city and feel my feet are being cushioned and protected. I really love the beautiful flower designs and how the top of the thong area is in crusted with jewels. Also, don't worry if you loose any of these beautiful jewels it comes with extra to replace them with. Oh not to mention the cute little bag these flip flops are packaged in really are adorable. I have been wearing these things since the minute I got them. I feel like it brings life to my outfit and makes me feel stylish. Cute, fun, light and comfortable.
