As Summer was approaching, all I could think about was when was my next appointment at Advanced Derma Laser. When you own a pool, bathing suits are a part of your everyday wardrobe. So the day when I never have to worry again about my bikini, my underarms and my legs is something I dream of. And I am almost there thanks to Jennifer and her team at Advanced Derma Laser in mid-town.

My appointment started on time as usual. I really love a place that values my time and is organized enough to know how long it takes for them to treat you. Jennifer takes one look at me and notices that I have a small tan. How can you blame me for trying to get a little color in between all this rain. As I have written before a tan does not help the process and can cause complications like discoloration if not treated correctly. But not at advanced Derma Laser. They are so on top of everything that you will never have any issues. Jennifer’s solution was to use a different less strong laser strength on my lower legs and on my thighs above knee. Then on my underarms, bikini, and feet where they was no tan, she used a stronger laser. She drew different zones on me with a white pencil to really detail the areas that would need different strengths. Total attention to detail. Jennifer is a perfectionist and that is exactly what you want

The process lasted about 40 minutes to do a majority of my body. As this is my fifth visit, I know exactly what feeling to expect as far as which area they are working on. Truthfully there are only a few spots that I actually feel discomfort. Around my ankles is that main part. But beauty is pain and anyone who has wasted time and money on waxing knows all about pain. Truthfully waxing is barbaric. And the fact that it is only a short term answer and not a solution like laser hair removal makes it just plain stupid. So stop wasting your money and make the switch.
