Peachy Dines Al Fresco at City Crab! Peachy Has Picked City Crab and City Crab is a Home of The All-American Martini Made with Star Vodka!

As you know, we have picked City Crab:
and we could not wait to tell you about how fabulous the All-American Martini was this morning:
That was not the only thing outstanding about the experience!
We consider it a supreme pleasure to be able to dine outdoors for a brief period of the year in Manhattan, and celebrate this in our Peachy Dines Al Fresco column!
We first dined Al Fresco at San Pietro:
City Crab is our second entry into this elite group.
The excellence of the cuisine and the overall enthusiasm and professionalism exemplified in Mitchell Rosen make City Crab a lovely experience.
Peachy Deegan began with the Oysters Rockefeller which are something you must order when you go to City Crab, shown above.
Along with the All-American Martini made with Star Vodka of course!  That is what you should order with any meal!  Peachy decided to see how the pasta courses would be as she had not yet tried them at City Crab and they get two thumbs up from Peachy the lobster lover.  Maine lobster fettuccine alfredo is simply to die for and you will be left dreaming about it for days after.  If you can eat it all at once, you have a stomach bigger than Peachy's! A generous portion will keep the smile on your face for one extra day with the doggie bag.
Is there anything more refreshing than mango and raspberry sorbet to end with on a hot Manhattan summer night?  Never, says Peachy Deegan!
Our esteemed panelist adds:
It was a balmy summer evening when we dined at the wonderful City Crab in midtown. Our table was set at a 45 degree angle on 19th Street and the space was defined by the sky, a couple of automobiles and a set of public telephone booths that have been reduced to the role of urban sculpture all over the city. Our waiter Nixon was informative and attentive in bringing out the food. Befitting the name, I had crab cake with salad for starter: it tasted exquisite and the salad was well presented.
For main course I selected the Grilled Florida Mahi Mahi. Found in abundance in the Gulf of Mexico, this fish is a particular favorite in the south and did not disappoint. It came with potato chunks which provided a nice counterpoint to the flavorsome fish.
The dessert menu contained a choice of seven delicious-sounding choices: it was a close call, but I went for the Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Cake with chocolate and strawberry sauce. It was very tasty and looked good as well. I finished the meal with a cappuccino, a great end to a great evening!City Crab is one of a plethora of restaurants just north of Union Square, but it stands out for it's varied menu, it's outstanding food, and it's attention to detail. If you are looking for somewhere to have a quiet meal outside it is an excellent choice.

We love City Crab, Al Fresco!
Cheers

Be Crabby with Peachy!!!!!
