Champagne Wishes: Emma Pearl Launches with Inaugural Vintage Chardonnay and Merlot. Whom You Know Is Excited to Kick Off Our Coverage of Emma Pearl!

Emma Pearl, a boutique collection of wines from pristine vineyards on California’s Central Coast, is pleased to introduce the debut vintage of Emma Pearl Chardonnay 2009 and Emma Pearl Merlot 2009. Emma Pearl offers a rich wine experience in both style and substance – with elegance and ease it embraces everyday indulgences.

Emma Pearl Winemaker Nova Cadamatre has crafted lush, sumptuous expressions of classic Chardonnay and Merlot characteristics. The wines’ premium fruit is specially selected to highlight the best attributes of the varietal and its Central Coast origin. The Chardonnay, from Santa Barbara County, shows aromas of poached pears and caramel complimented by a rich, creamy mouth with notes of Meyer lemons and toasted cinnamon. From Paso Robles, the Merlot’s nose of fresh cherry and raspberry is followed by a velvety mouth that reveals exotic spice and pomegranate.

Turning each wine purchase into a special gift, off-premise Emma Pearl offers gift wrap kiosks with custom tissue, gift bags and gift tags. The wine will also be available for purchase in stylized half case packs, ideal for group entertaining and gifting. Initial launch markets include California, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington at select retailers; with additional markets rolling out throughout the year. Suggested retail price of the Chardonnay is $17.99 and the Merlot is $17.99.
