Join Southampton Hospital for the 53^rd Annual Summer Party, A Tropical Paradise, on Saturday, August 6, 2011. Attendees will dance the night away to the magical and memorable music of The Alex Donner Orchestra in a tropical getaway created by renowned interior designer Tony Urrutia. The night will be an elegant and tasteful affair, catered by Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs, including a silent auction with enticing items, among them a Baccarat Decanter and 4 US Open Final Tickets. The celebration supports the Hospital’s Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department, which serves more than 25,000 residents and visitors annually on Long Island’s South Fork. The Emergency Department is named after the Paulsons, in recognition of their generous support for the Hospital. Jean Shafiroff is the Benefit Chair for the second consecutive year in a row. Tiffany & Co. is the Honorary Jewelry Chair, Barclay’s Wealth is the Honorary Corporate Chair, Cushman and Wakefield is the Honorary Commercial Real Estate Chair, Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate is the Honorary Residential Real Estate Chair.

ABOUT THE JENNY AND JOHN PAULSON EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT: Southampton Hospital treats more than 25,000 people annually in the Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department. In fact, in the months of July and August it receives more emergency visits than some New York City hospitals. Its board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians and specialty-trained staff are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to treat a full spectrum of patient accidents and illnesses from minor cuts to heart complications.
