Terrific Takeout: Ethos

All salads are not created equal, and once you order the Horiatiki Classic Greek Salad bursting with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and onions you will know!  You won't even miss the lettuce....and if you are into cheese and olives, those also join the party.  Ethos is a brand new hot spot on first avenue that you should all know about!  We've been on a bit of a Greek Streak if you have been reading the last few weeks, so by now, you know about Peachy's Tzatziki sauce addiction.
Peachy doesn't even really even LIKE sauces in general.  She is Irish!  However, this sauce is AMAZING and absolutely habit-forming.  The Ethos chips (i.e. zucchini and eggplant chips!) with Tzatziki sauce will totally impress you for as long as they last, which we can assure you, won't be long.  The chips are crisp, the sauce is creamy, the result is one big smile on your face.
You know the Greeks are fabulous at seafood.
We were thrilled to try the imported Lavraki "Bronzini": lean white fish with mild moist tender flakes...totally fresh, this is a wonderful summer number that is so outstanding you will be inspired to book your next trip to Greece.  Usually in Takeout we only mention what we ordered and liked in terms of food, but today we will say Ethos is tops in hospitality: Executive Chef Christos Christou, one of the three owners, personally delivered the order to Peachy and chatted with her earlier.  This kind of care and attention to detail is one big reason (in addition to their cuisine of course) why Ethos did not have an empty table the time we popped by.
Ethos is Terrific Takeout!
They even threw in a lovely Baklava...
