FASHION ALERT: Not All Fashion is Created Equally Introducing MOTT 50, Sun Protective Clothing for the Style Conscious and Informed. Whom You Know Highly Recommends the Sharon Long-Sleeved Polo, Especially For Wearing in Jaunts in Central Park & of course the Upcoming Boston College Tailgates this Fall!

It's not who you know, it's Whom You Know and you know this site is named after Peachy's 10th grade English class at Miss Porter's School.  Not only did Miss Porter's teach Peachy proper grammar but it also helped her gain acceptance to Boston College, where the motto is "Ever to Excel" which is also what Whom You Know does: identify excellence and tell everyone about it.
We are always thrilled when we find an innovative product of high quality that we can tell you about, but especially since Peachy has been volunteering for BC admissions since she was a freshman as a tour guide and of course is a graduate,  Peachy is even MORE thrilled when she identifies excellence by the place that breeds it: introducing Mott 50 by Anne Botica and Monique Moore, two eagles who are soaring in the world of fashion.
The inspiration for Mott 50 came from a day at the beach with friends. Anne and Monique noticed a significant change in the way people consume the sun. The era of tanning contests was over, and in its place they saw floppy hats, tunics, and oversized sunglasses. When a squabble over the last drop of sun block occurred, they knew they were witnessing a shift in consciousness.
Realizing that most clothing leaves people exposed to damaging rays, they made it their mission to find new ways to protect skin from the negative effects of sun and raise awareness to the cause. After over a year of research, fabric sourcing around the globe, and garment testing with top facilities Mott 50 was born. They are proud to introduce a new line of fashion that offers UPF sun protection in every garment.
For the record - a regular white t-shirt has a UPF of 5. While most clothing blocks UVB (burning) rays ... that's not the case for stealthier UVA rays which penetrate through both glass and light weight fabrics. UVA rays are responsible for pre-mature aging and cell mutation (aka wrinkles and skin cancer) therefore they recommend sun screen and sun protective clothing with UPF 30+.

Peachy Deegan just loves the Sharon Long-Sleeved Polo: a
classic fit polo with sun protection. Contents: 100% Cotton Pique

This garment was specially designed to block the sun's harmful rays, offering a certified Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) level.

Wear this if you want to live the motto Ever to Excel like Anne, Monique and Peachy!
Maybe they should make it in maroon....with gold trim.

The Mott 50 line is approved by The Skin Cancer Foundation, and a portion of proceeds are donated to cancer research.
