Letters to the Peachy on Tony Marinelli by Benjie Geller
Dear Peachy,
What a beautifully written article about Tony. It’s so well deserved! You see there are years and years of wonderful things Tony has done in this business that he would never speak about. He is a quiet man but a beautiful soul. What you got was a version; I got to live it with him.
I am so proud that I was able to spend so many years with Tony both at Unisa and A. Marinelli. I have learned so much from him I really can’t even explain to you what it was! This industry has its fill of people that don’t belong because there always looking to screw you. On the other side, Tony is the consummate gentleman. Whether that be at a factory level or with a little independent just trying to make it.
I have been in this business for over 30 years and human beings like Tony have just disappeared. If the truth really was to be told, Unisa would have never survived without Tony and Barry Schwartz. Barry is a spectacular man and a real gentleman. Tony and Barry have survived in a very challenging industry because they are pure and true to everyone around them.
I truly don’t know much about you but I would challenge you to try and find any single person in our industry that has meant more than Tony. The integrity that he brings, I haven’t seen in a long time.
Great job Peachy,
Sincerely,
Benjie Geller
