Peachy Ahoy: Vintage Yachting Club Highly Recommended by Whom You Know! Escape Manhattan on One of Their Top-Notch Excursions!
Classy boats have paintings hanging inside the actual boat of themselves
...like the Mariner III from Biloxi.
Docked at Chelsea Piers, the Mariner has a storied history that you can read all about on their website. It is every bit as celebrated as it sounds and this is a yacht you want to be on.
Sometimes pictures speak louder than words, and on the occasion of the Mariner III's cruise around Manhattan, one word comes to mind more prominently than others and that is the word FUN, as you will clearly see below.
Summer may have wound down and it may technically be fall now, but you can keep summer going when you frequent events by the fabulous Vintage Yachting Club, whom we are so pleased to finally meet in person. It's not who you know that counts, it's Whom You Know Mover and Shaker Rennie McQuilkin taught us, and we are pleased to know Eric Dahler!
"Tonight was a prime example of how our model of collaboration with leading luxury lifestyle companies as well as the unique atmosphere of a classic yacht can combine to deliver a highly distinctive, memorable experience in which substantive, lasting personal and business relationships are forged.
We are looking forward to future collaborations with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Wine Cellarage, Hommage and all of the other event partners,"
commented Eric Dahler, Founder and Principal of Vintage Yachting Club.

Not everyone has their own yacht in Manhattan (and you probably would not want to either-it is a lot of work), so this is the ideal option to get away in style for an evening with a perfectly delightful crowd whom you'll be introduced to, a top-notch captain (you know Peachy Deegan just loves Irishmen and was thrilled to meet Captain Sean Kennedy!)
and pleasant staff,
and of course a yacht to die for.
And may we mention the cuisine was superb-done by a graduate of The French Culinary Institute...and you know we love L'Ecole.
The results of the culinary artistry:
Peachy has eaten fine food on yachts before, but none finer than this.
The Chateaubriand served with bernaise sauce was heavenly paired with the roasted fingerling potatoes with basil butter.
Even the flowers looked great.
And there was even a birthday cake for the birthday girl from New Zealand!
Now that you are convinced that this is the kind of yacht you'd like to float around in while sipping on some Champagne, let the party begin!
Those are our friends from Nicolas Feuillatte, Pascal and Isabelle.
We've recommended this brand in the past and Peachy personally rang in 2011 with them:
Thank you Isabelle for bringing the bubbly along last night

Here are the fabulous people we met:
You really cannot beat seeing the sunset on Manhattan from a private Yacht.
Friends of Todd Pollack (Todd we want to see if you are reading!)
We missed you Victoria!

And, there was even an afterparty...twist our arm, we love afterparties!
Don't you love afterparties? We love them even more when we are driven there in BMW's!
People from Connecticut are very, very fun. We are sure Charles Kuralt was there in spirit talking to us about the big barrel of peanuts at Oliver's Tavern.
Whom You Know Highly Recommends the Vintage Yaching Club.
Remember, space on a boat is limited, so the very second you hear the next event like this announced, you should sign up straightaway because this is one of the best nights in Manhattan you'll have.
