Peachy's Pantry: Chobani Yogurt Highly Recommended by Whom You Know

I must admit I am one of those guys who does not normally go grocery shopping. If I do go, I walk in and buy what is on my list and am out the door in minutes. Recently my wife was under the weather and I was asked to do the shopping for the week, definitely a new experience and I now have a greater appreciation for all of you that have to do this on a regular basis. One of the items on the shopping list was to pick up a 32 ounce container of non-fat, plain Chobani Greek Yogurt, simple enough, right? When I got to the yogurt aisle I was flabbergasted at the number of choices available by Chobani, 32 ounce, 16 ounce and 6 ounce containers. Besides the yogurt I had a list of fruits that she wanted me to purchase so that she could cut them up and add them to the Chobani plain yogurt. Looking at the selection of Chobani Greek Yogurts available to me, I made a command decision and bought 12, yes 12, different 6 ounce containers of the non-fat Chobani Greek Yogurt. I thought why buy all of that fruit when I can buy the 6 ounce containers with the fruit already mixed in, saving me time and money in the long run. When I arrived home I was greeted with skepticism on how good the yogurt would taste. Well, it took about one bite for my bride to taste the rich, thick and creamy yogurt and delicious fruit. Now she had a quite a variety to taste from, she chose as her first one, the Pomegranate, and I experienced the Black Cherry, delicious. Over the next two days, we tasted the Pineapple, the Peach, the Strawberry, then the Strawberry-Banana combo, the Blueberry (yummy), the Lemon, the Raspberry, the Mango and the Vanilla. Yes, there was a 6 ounce of plain Chobani Greek Yogurt too, just in case. We were both equally impressed with the yogurt and read where the Chobani brand of Greek Yogurt has twice the protein than regular yogurts. They use only natural ingredients, no preservatives and no artificial sweeteners and is a great source of calcium. I know that Chobani Greek Yougurt will be in our refrigerator now on a regular basis. Will I do the shopping again, yes, only when needed though!

Chobani Greek Yogurt is by far the best thing I have ever had! I love yogurt - basically have a cup of it every day. I was lucky enough to be able to try some of the amazing flavors of Chobani - and honestly I think it's changed my life. I love the strawberry banana, Mango, blueberry, Vanilla, Plain - oh geez the list could go on! This is the creamiest and most fulfilling yogurt on the market. It tastes AMAZING! It's the perfect size to take with you when you're on the go. I also love that the texture of the yogurt is spot on. I can honestly say I am full for most of the day after one 6oz cup. If you haven't tried it yet - grab a cup and see what I'm talking about!

Peachier. Pineapple-ier. Cherry-ier. Chunks of fruit sit on your spoon and you wonder: is this dessert? Chopani Greek Style Yogurt takes the cake, to be sure, and fills the gap when you need a "healthy" snack. The fruit is actually THERE, in this extra creamy, thick, incredible yogurt. It's not too sweet, because of the natural cane sugar that give it just a touch of delight. The non-fat milk does wonders for your calorie count, but there is no suffering whatsoever, and we put it to the test. With a bevy of beauties before me, here for a fitting, we had a Chopani moment: dark cherry was declared "delightful". The rasberry was "delish", and won as the "gooder" flavor. Over all, the Chopani has the right amount of tartness, and the right measure of sweetness. The lemon has lemon zest in it, and reminds one of lemon cheesecake in flavor. The vanilla is smooth and stands alone, but does wonders over a sliced banana. Secret new find: mix the natural with mayo and do up a salad: it's great as dressing.

Rich, creamy and delicious - those are the terms that immediately spring to mind when describing Chobani Yogurt. A Greek yogurt made in central New York, this delightful taste treat blows the competition out of the water. It's available in a variety of flavors, including traditional yogurt staples such as strawberry banana (my personal favorite), blueberry, and peach. Additionally, though, it's also available in some more exotic flavors including mango, pineapple, and pomegranate! Unlike other Greek yogurt products I've tried, Chobani manages to deliver a product that isn't too tangy or too stiff. It truly feels and tastes like more of a dessert than a super-good-for-you snack (which it is!). It's made with all-natural ingredients and is completely free of preservatives or artificial flavors. One of the things I love about it is that there are actual bits of fruit in it - it doesn't get much more authentic than that! And the protein content is double that of regular yogurts - an added bonus! Also, on their website, they've go all kinds of interesting and healthy recipes that can help you think "outside the yogurt tub" and use Chobani in a lot of different ways. All in all, a clear winner in the Greek yogurt category!!
