PORTS 1961 and REED KRAKOFF: Redken's Runway Report from New York with hair by Guido
Redken Creative Consultant Guido created two minimal versions of a pony for the Ports 1961and Reed Krakoff shows today. Both styles were first blown out with Redken’s satinwear 02 ultimate blow-dry lotion, but the final Ports 1961 look was modern and secured with a sleek white barrette, while the Reed Krakoff look took a natural, fresh turn wrapped with a leather strap.

The Ports 1961 look was two-textured, wet on top and dry toward the ends. “Ports 1961 is a classic American sportswear line and this look is quite strong, accentuating the modern feel looking without feeling over-girly. The point is that it has no real period reference, leaving a pure, austere, and even masculine impression.”
