Target Offers NP Set’s High Glam at Low Prices for Fall 2011
Napoleon Perdis knows how to transform a look from the runway to reality and his line is as fun to use as it looks! As makeup director for key shows at both New York and Australian Fashion Week, Napoleon - the architect of NP Set - designs on-trend innovations spiked with skin-nourishing ingredients. This fall, NP Set is adding four new products to its line up for the glamour girl on-the-go. “Whether it’s a luminous complexion or a show-stopping shadow, each of these makeup essentials will help you create runway glamour in an instant,” says the makeup master. The collection launches at Target® (NYSE:TGT) stores nationwide and online at Target.com in August 2011.
Calming Pre-Foundation Primer and Brightening Pre-Foundation Primer ($29 each) Create the perfect canvas with some covert complexion correction. These lightweight, skin-priming wonders help to mask and prep the complexion for a flawless foundation finish. Brightening Pre-Foundation Primer has a purple tint to brighten dull skin and provides an anti-aging complex designed to brighten up your complexion. Calming Pre-Foundation Primer boasts a green tint to calm sensitive skin and minimize redness, with the addition of aloe and cucumber extracts to leave skin feeling cool and refreshed. As we head into fall and our skin is less dewy than it was in the summer, primer becomes more important and this is a good option!
Napoleon’s Insider tip:
“After your skincare regime, apply a quarter-sized amount of Calming Pre-Foundation Primer or Brightening Pre-Foundation Primer over the face and make sure to get an even application. Follow with your favorite foundation and concealer like NP Set It Takes Two Concealer and Foundation Pot.”
Duo Eye Shadows ($9.99 each)
For a little eye play, try these super-flattering shadow pairings. The long-lasting, silky formula creates eye-catching looks when worn alone or blended together. All shadows are free of parabens, talc and infused with a natural argan preservative to moisturize and protect skin. Available in six shades: Barbados , Saint Lucia , Saint Barth’s, Martinique, Antigua and Saint Croix . These brighten up your look and go on smooth!
Napoleon’s Insider tip:
“Blend the lighter eye shadow from the lash line up to the crease, and then define with the darker shade in the crease. Make sure to blend for a smash-hit eye shadow look!”

Eyelashes ($10 each)
These fun and flirty lashes are perfectly shaped to create eye-opening looks for all beauty mavens! For a natural lash look, try the Manchester set or opt for Copenhagen for individual lashes. Peachy Deegan rarely puts these on but wait until you see her Halloween costume! Just perfect, even with your contacts.
Napoleon’s Insider tip:
“Squeeze a small drop of adhesive onto the back of your hand and glide strip base (or individual lash) through glue. Wait 10 seconds.”
“For Manchester , lay the lash strip to the center first and as close to the natural lash line as possible.”
“For Copenhagen , place individual lashes on top of the natural lash line without touching the skin to create fuller looking lashes or apply lashes to the outer corners for a doe-eyed look. Press and wait 60 seconds to dry. Finish with your favorite NP Set mascara. To remove, gently pull away from the lashes.”
