Peachy Deegan began with the Peekytoe Crab Salad which had the most refreshing avocado wrapped around it, and watermelon and musk melon dancing along the side in perfect geometric shapes-ooh la la this Chef knows what is in and that is geometry for Spring 2012~!
Of course takeout does not come on china, but you don't think Peachy eats out of takeout containers, do you silly?
The slow poached Maine Lobster absolutely melted in our mouth and makes us think the majority of other lobsters we've had of this nature were poached too slowly or too quickly...however, this beauty from Picholine was just right for Goldilocks Peachy. The scandalously delicious sauce, with notes of both sweet and savory, is unique to dining in the restaurant...but we could not resist. Joined by Corn Coulis, Chorizo and Huit la coche, the lobster and its amazing taste were heightened uniquely by each component.
If you have not had the squid ink fideos at Picholine, what are you waiting for!!!
Joined by ruby red shrimp, piquillo pepper, and pimenton-aioli, this is a symphony of seafood perfection that steals the thunder from the Mercedes Benz tents in terms of beauty!
Every delicate bite will leave you basking in the genius of this Chef...whom we have got to meet!

It is a vast understatement to say Picholine is Terrific Takeout.
We might have to start a new column called Phenomenal Takeout for this place...
