UPCOMING NIGHTLIGHT: The Icla da Silva Foundation is Celebrating 19 Years of Saving Lives

The Icla da Silva Foundation will be celebrating 19 years fighting leukemia and other diseases treatable by bone marrow transplants. To commemorate the occasion, the Foundation is putting together their annual fundraising event known as The Icla da Silva Foundation’s 19th Fundraising Dinner and Dance - Celebrate Hope. The event will take place on October 5, 2011 at the Grand Ballroom of the new Roosevelt Hotel in NYC, from 6:30pm to 11pm. In 2010, the Dinner & Dance was sold out 2 weeks before the event date.

Over 300 friends and supporters of the Icla da Silva Foundation are expected to attend this year's event. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour featuring a premium full bar, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction that includes special and one-of-a-kind items, followed by an elegant sit down dinner and the catching beat of the band Alive n Kicking.

The highlight of the event will be the meeting between a marrow donor and the former leukemia patient whose life was saved. The event will be hosted by Award-winning CW11 Anchor Jim Watkins.

Tickets, sponsorships, virtual advertisement and raffle tickets can be purchased at www.iclagala.eventbrite.com. RSVP today before the event is sold out!
