Cloche from Fashion Week 2011, designed as part of "The Enchanted Island" collection. Inspired by the costumes for the new production at The Metropolitan Opera. It is made from a velour fur felt, hand-blocked and finished. Ellen trimmed it with a simple grosgrain band, and a clutch of feathers, highlighted by a leopard print silk petal. The petals are all made in the last flower factory in midtown, where they use Victorian molds to make flowers cut and mounted by hand. It is 100% made in America.
