Terrific Takeout: Al Bustan

Peachy Deegan began her Al Bustan experience with something familiar: Arugula Salad!
Chopped perfectly, this is a component of every meal you should include.
Lemon dressing was on the side...and everything was neatly wrapped with plastic wrap around each container to prevent leakage.  We love that attention to detail.
As an appetizer, Peachy tried Jawaneh.  Don't know what that is?  She didn't either...it is chicken wings sauteed with garlic cilantro and lemon juice.  Mouthwatering!
You know we love stars of the sea and this was one!  As an entree, we had the Samak Tajine!  We are learning so much about Lebanon in one meal...owner Norman came here in 1986 and is from there so you can be confident this is authentic.  The baked red snapper on rice is topped with a lovely lightly spiced Tahini sauce that is tremendous.  Now we know we like Tahini sauce!
