Tried and trued on the Barbary Coast , the product line by California North was aimed at outdoorsmen. Meant to appeal as a "non-cosmetic" line of skincare, the products cover shaving to suntan. Their website states : "our products have ...a triple function - counteract, and defend, then enhance." Women picked up on the line and added it to a daily routine of active fitness and good health. The Gelskin Wash for face and body is the practical introduction to this collection. Firstly, you can carry just one product that does both the delicate face and the body. Secondly, the scent is appealing to both men and women, so it's the perfect addition to a couple-shared vanity. I love the softness it gives my skin, and I would buy it for a guy in a minute. Once you try the Gelwash, you're sure to be on the hunt for the rest of the product line- it's that good!

This is one great shower gel for the face as well as the body! In fact it was made for the face but was expanded for use on the body. It leaves your skin wonderfully moist, not dry. I love the light grapefruit scent. Its antioxidant oil free and pH balanced formula contains soothing botanical extracts. Best of all it dissolves dirt and oil that may cause you blemishes.

When it comes to body wash, I need something that is not only a great cleanser but also does not dry out my skin like regular soap. I also need a cleanser that is going to help me with my breakouts. Thankfully I now have California North's Gel skin Wash to rely on! The cleanser, which has a delicious, light grapefruit scent to it is one of the best I've ever used! You can use it on your face too and it isn't at all abrasive. It comes highly recommended by dermatologists and is oil free too! For someone like me, who has acne-prone skin that is oily yet very sensitive, finding a good cleanser can be somewhat of a challenge! It needs to be effective, yet gentle; tough, yet non-drying. This has to be my new favorite wash. I loved that it was a body and face wash in one. It left my skin feeling soft and moisturized after using it as a body wash. When I used it on my face as a face wash, it left my face feeling fresh and clean. It has a light, clean scent which is important to me. I had a few friends want to know what perfume I was wearing. I will absolutely buy more of this for myself as well as gifts for friends.
