NIGHTLIGHT: January 30, 2012 Mover and Shaker Geoffrey Bradfield Hosts a Smashing Soiree in Honor of UN Women for Peace

Quoted from their site: UN Women for Peace was founded in 2008, under the patronage of H.E. Mrs. Ban Soon-taek, wife of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and we believe this is a charity you all should know about-click through to their site above. The organization aims at promoting, strengthening and advancing the goals of academic and charitable organizations whose mission is to provide opportunities for women to partake in the global peace building process through social, cultural, educational and women empowerment programs, and this is the notable organization that benefited from the generosity of Geoffrey last night.  No one needs to convince us to support great organizations promoting women: you know our philosophy is strongly influenced by the late Sarah Porter and oftentimes we say anything boys can do girls can do better...you should know there are events, there are parties and then there are GEOFFREY BRADFIELD parties...saying that is like saying there are hockey players, and then there is Gordie Howe.

Just looking at that picture, which no one knew Peachy was taking, you can see that if you knew no one there, Geoffrey is the one with a flute in his hand and a smile on his face ready to graciously greet you and introduce you to all of his friends, and we do mean all, because he has a lot of them!  How do you do it Geoffrey?  He is not only one of the most fun people we know socially, but also he has great depth, intellect, substance and clearly style and every guest in attendance last night distinctly enjoyed that last superlative at his gorgeous townhouse on the Upper East side.  Geoffrey we loved your school tie but then again-you know who is really into alma maters...

Gillian we loved your dress!

Doesn't Margo look great in red!

Nick Hunt is one of the nicest and hardest working photographers we know!

This must be where Geoffrey mixes his Peachy Deegans....
What a fun kitchen!

Even the statue was ready to party!
Everyone who was anyone was there...not an open spot anywhere!
We love finding friends that also endorse houndstooth!

It is great in January to be able to have weather that permits you to have the soiree partly outside!

We love the monogrammed hand towels we are huge proponents of monogramming.
